Invitation to Bid

Simpson County Schools is accepting sealed bids for our District PEST CONTROL needs.

Bid packets with specifics should be picked up at the Simpson County Board of Education Central Office – front entrance or are available on the District website at https://www.simpson.k12.ky.us.  

Any bidder who wishes to tour the areas or ask specific questions should make request to Operations Manager Robert White by email at robert.white@simpson.kyschools.us Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM until 4PM.

All sealed bids shall be delivered to the Simpson County Board of Education, Amanda Spears, 430 S College Street, Franklin, KY 42134 before 10:00 a.m., local time on Monday, June 10, 2019 at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.  All bids shall be in a sealed envelope and clearly marked “Simpson County Schools – PEST CONTROL Bid” in the bottom left corner. 

The Simpson County Board of Education is not responsible for the premature opening of, or failure to open a sealed bid that is not properly addressed or identified.  All information on the bid form shall be typed or printed in ink; please do not use white out or correction tape on the bid form.

The Simpson County Board of Education reserves the right to reject any/all bids and waive all formalities in the award of the bid.

Local resident bidders may be eligible for a Kentucky resident bidder’s preference pursuant to KRS 45A.
